Information Solutions at Homeless Connect

Homeless Connect Perth is an annual event at which homeless guests can access a diverse range of essential services and activities, including haircuts, optometrists, dentists, job services, accommodation support, mental health support, and clothing and food "shops". Everything is free to guests on the day. Sadly, there is an increase in guests each year and in 2015 close to 1,500 guests attended with 260 volunteers helping pre, during and post event.

Production Team at WA Birds of Prey

The WA Birds of Prey Centre has been rescuing, rehabilitating and releasing back into the wild birds of prey since 2000. The Centre aims to release the birds it has rescued back into their native habitat, working closely with a network of rescue organisations to arrange additional care, treatment and transport. The Centre relies entirely on volunteers to sustain their operations through maintenance of aviaries, preparing transport packs and assistance around the facility.
