Digital Teams at Homeless Connect Bump-In (Warehouse & Russel Sqaure)

Every year for the past five years, the Digital Team have shown their support to Homeless Connect by dedicating their Team Volunteering Day to help with preparing for Homeless Connect. One team helped pack and stack away all the equipment and boxes full of donations that were to go to the site, and the second team helped to bump-in at Russell Square the following day.

Despite it being a small group, the warehouse team punched well above their weight and showed that it’s not about quantity, but about quality - they proved that a small group can achieve so much with such little time.

 The day wasn’t just about the volunteering work but also about making connections with team members and, as one volunteer put it:

“Team building, bonding with folks who I wouldn’t normally” 

And another said that “the team spirit was great”.

 

The second team helped with the bump-in and set up of the event at Russell Square.
