
Development Planning team volunteer at Djilba Big Day Out in Kings Park
In the Nyoongar seasonal calendar, ‘Djilba’ is the season of conception, also known as the first spring, from August to September. The Djilba Big Day Out, previously known as the Kulunga Katitjin Festival, is a 3-day festival in September, packed full of hands-on activities including Welcome to Country, traditional Nyoongar Dance performances, Aboriginal Art, cultural activities, orienteering, bizarre botanical and more to promote a sustainable and respectful future for all. The Development Planning team volunteered on one of these days three day festival helping with a variety of roles.
